EVA and Third Space Automation (TSA) are happy to announce their partnership in the development of swarm-based dynamic monitoring, alert and first response system for wildfire detection and suppression.
The solution combines EVA’s vertical take-off and landing drone technology (VTOL) and TSA’s AI.Pilot software platform customized for fire detection, obstacle avoidance, fleet management, navigation and precision drop system for fire extinguishing balls.
The companies will carry out a pilot project in northern Portugal to tackle the growing problem of wildfires. Third Space Automation Oy is a robotics and AI software company established in Finland. AI.Pilot is a proprietary and customizable modular software platform that enables explainable, safe and reliable flight operations in PX4 based drones. TSA’s AI tools enable industry-specific data analytics such as object identification from data collected by the drones.
EVA is supported by Starburst, Techstars and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund. It opens a third dimension in the world of mobility and focuses on service solutions in the life segment; covering healthcare logistics, disaster prevention and support.
